I am trying to locate a photo of our house which was located at 47 St Pauls Road Southsea, where I lived from 1947 until 1957. I think the house was demolished in about the 1960’s and the only photo I could obtain was the rear, from Portsmouth City Council .Looking at the photo of the terraces in King Street, these seem to be similar to ours although ours was rendered.Ours was three storey ,front door on the left approached via stone steps and a basement below. I am very keen to acquire a photo of this house and would appreciate any help you can give. It’s possible that the house could appear in a photo taken of Whites Garage from the right hand side as we were next door but one. Opposite was the bombed out shell of St Pauls Church. I look forward to hearing from you. Regards Anthony Farr.

I’m sorry that I can’t help – all of my photos are present day. Perhaps Portsmouth Museum can help. BTW, are you any relation to Jenty?
